I tied up a few variations of this fly to start based on some ideas I had… I wanted something that was quick and easy to tie but had plenty of life and attention grabbing elements when fished through the lava rock gardens of the Lower Sac and deep swirl holes. In the end I settled on the simplest of the versions as when fishing flies through rock gardens you loose a lot of flies
